I’m Becky Lester the owner, handler, and breeder behind Alum Creek Labradors. We are located in Central Ohio. Situated on 7 acres in rural Morrow CO. I have been training Labradors since 2023. I come with over 25 years experience breeding and training working line German Shepherds, in the sport of Schutzhund. As a young child I had a deep passion and admiration for the Labrador Retriever. My father and I volunteered at Canine Companions for Independence who exclusively trained Labradors to be therapy dogs for adults and children with disabilities.

In 2023 I decided to fully devote myself back to English Labrador Retrievers. I love the friendly disposition and duality the breed offers.

Prior to breeding we do extensive health certifications such as embark genetic panels, OFA Hips and Elbows, annual eye exams, and cardiac echos. Our Dams are titled in and shown in conformation as well. We believe the dam should be just as accomplished as the sire because this is who raises the puppies the first 8 weeks of their lives!!! We breed with health, temperament, and working ability in mind to create your future hunting dog, therapy , SAR, scent work, or excellent family companion.

Member of the parent club, The Labrador Retriever Club, INC. LRC and Ohio Valley Retriever Club OVRC. Alum Creek Labradors is also recognized by Good Dog for Excellent health testing practices.
